Q. How Do I Deal With A Wedding Problem?

A. As a rule, people who care for each other show up to support the event, in this case you chose not to attend, which is ok, if that is how you felt.  You always want to be true to yourself if it aligns up with the will of God.  That is why we should lift everything up to the Lord before we proceed forward.

The dancing at the wedding is certainly not conductive to SDA beliefs, but the fact remains that this was their wedding and are entitled to their choices, they will be responsible for being a stumbling block to whomever.

I like the simplicity of David’s word in Ps 3.3 “But You, O Lord, are a shield for me, my glory, and the lifter of my head.”  When I’m frustrated because of my fellow man, I turn my eyes to Him and count on Him to lift my head in comfort and wrap His arms around me for support.
