Vegetable Marinara over Angel Hair Pasta


  • 1 c. water
  • 2 – 15 oz cans plain tomato sauce
  • 1 c. canned whole tomatoes, crushed
  • ½ c. red bell pepper
  • ½ c. yellow bell pepper
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • ½ tsp. red pepper flakes
  • ½ tsp. sea salt
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • ½ tsp. marjoram
  • ½ tsp. sweet basil
  • ½ tsp. rosemary
  • 1 c. fresh baby spinach
  • ½ c. chick peas
  • 1 – 13.25 oz. box angel hair pasta, cooked


Combine all ingredients except pasta in a large saucepan and simmer until vegetables are tender and sauce has thickened. Serve over prepared angel hair pasta.
