Vegan Cool Whip


  • 1/2 c. soy, almond or coconut milk
  • 1/4 c. soybean oil
  • 2 tbsp. maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp. agar powder or 1/4 tsp. xanthan gum


  1. In a blender, combine milk, maple syrup, vanilla and xanthan gum. Blend until combined.
  2. While blender is turning, slowly add the oil. Let stand 10 – 15 minutes, until thickened.
  3. Chill in refrigerator until ready to serve.
