Ultimate Cheese Sauce


  • 1 c. raw cashews
  • 1 c. pimentos
  • 1/2 c. nutritional yeast flakes
  • 2 Tbsp. onion powder
  • 4 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 4 c. water


  1. Combine all ingredients in blender except 2 cups of the water and blend until very smooth.
  2. Pour into medium saucepan, adding the rest of the water. Cook until thickened. Cool.
