Sweet Pepper Gravy


  • 1 tsp. canola or olive oil
  • 1/2 medium onion
  • 1/2 sweet bell pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. tomato paste
  • 1 tsp. vegetable gravy powder
  • 1 tsp. honey
  • 1 pinch Italian seasoning
  • Cornstarch slurry


  1. Sauté onion and bell pepper in olive oil until soft. Stir in tomato paste, adding a little water if necessary.
  2. Add gravy powder, honey and Italian seasoning. Add cornstarch slurry to thicken to desired consistency.
