Strawberry Poppy Spinach Salad


  • 2 Tbsp. sesame seeds
  • 1 Tbsp. poppy seeds
  • 1/4 c. agave nectar
  • 1/2 c. olive oil
  • 1/4 c. fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp. paprika
  • 1/4 tsp. tamari sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. minced onion
  • 10 oz. fresh spinach, rinsed, dried and torn into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 qt. strawberries, sliced
  • 1/4 c. slivered almonds


  1. Whisk sesame seeds, poppy seeds, agave nectar, olive oil, lemon juice, paprika and tamari together. Set aside.
  2. In a medium bowl, toss the spinach and almonds together. Drizzle with dressing and mix. Top with strawberries and serve.
