Spicy Crock Pot Beans


  • Beans, such as pinto, small red beans, cranberry beans
  • Chopped onions
  • Chopped red bell pepper
  • Chopped green bell peppers
  • Diced jalapeños
  • Minced garlic
  • Salt to taste


  1. Cover with water and cook until tender, adding more water as necessary.
  2. Serve over brown rice, adding chopped fresh tomatoes and lettuce if desired.

* Leftover beans can be used for a loaf or burgers.
