Pineapple Maple Sauce


  • 1 (20-oz) can unsweetened pineapple, crushed
  • 1/2 c. maple syrup
  • 2 tsp. vanilla flavoring
  • 1 tsp. cornstarch 


  1. Put crushed pineapple into a 3-qt sauce pan.
  2. Mix the cornstarch into the water. Stir with a fork. Add the cornstarch to the pan and stir.
  3. Keep on low heat. Stir and thicken. Will be glossy in texture.
  4. Serve over waffles.
