- 1 (20-oz) can unsweetened pineapple, crushed
- 1/2 c. maple syrup
- 2 tsp. vanilla flavoring
- 1 tsp. cornstarch
- Put crushed pineapple into a 3-qt sauce pan.
- Mix the cornstarch into the water. Stir with a fork. Add the cornstarch to the pan and stir.
- Keep on low heat. Stir and thicken. Will be glossy in texture.
- Serve over waffles.
