Lentil Soup

Ingredients:

  • 1 16 oz. bag red lentils
  • 3 stalks celery
  • 3 carrots
  • 1 large onion
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 2 Tbsp. chicken base
  • 1 Tbsp. basil
  • 1 Tbsp. oregano
  • 1 Tbsp. thyme
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 gallon water
  • 1 tsp. salt

Instructions:

  1. Bring water to a boil and add remaining ingredients.
  2. Reduce heat and simmer for 30 – 45 minutes, or until lentils are done and vegetables are cooked.
