- 1 lb. fresh ginger
- 8 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 2 1/2 quarts water
- Peel and grate the ginger. Add water and let stand overnight.
- Stir in sugar until well dissolved.
- Strain and chill or serve with crushed ice.
