Fake Steak Sandwiches


  • 2 large portobello mushrooms
  • garlic powder
  • salt
  • olive oil
  • lettuce leaves
  • tomato slices
  • sandwich buns


  1. In a medium skillet, place olive oil and mushrooms, seasoning to taste with garlic powder and salt. Fry until mushrooms begin to “sweat” a little. Do not overcook.
  2. Place mushrooms in a bun with lettuce and tomato.
