Energy Pancakes


  • 1 c. whole wheat flour
  • 1 c. unbleached white flour
  • 1/4 c. soy milk powder
  • 1/4 c. ground flaxseeds
  • 1/4 c. wheat germ
  • 1/2 tsp. sea salt
  • 1 Tbsp. Ener-G baking powder
  • 1/4 c. turbinado sugar
  • 2 1/4 c. water
  • 2 Tbsp. canola oil
  • 1 tsp. vanilla


  1. In a medium bowl, stir dry ingredients together. Stir in water, vanilla and oil.
  2. Heat and lightly oil skillet.
  3. Add 1/4 c. batter for each pancake, and fry until bubbles form. Turn and cook until lightly browned on both sides.
