Crock Pot Beans


  • Beans of choice
  • Onion powder
  • Garlic powder
  • Chipotle seasoning or chili
  • Menudo seasoning
  • Paprika
  • Mustard powder
  • Cumin
  • Celery seed
  • Dried bell peppers
  • Bay leaves


  1. Place beans in crock pot in a proportion of 1 part beans to 3 – 4 parts water. Add seasonings of choice. 
  2. Cook for 6 – 8 hours, or until beans are tender, adding more water as necessary. Serve over cooked brown rice if you like.
