Brown Rice Meatballs


  • 2 c. cooked brown rice
  • 1/2 c. oat flour
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 1/3 c. pecan meal
  • 1/4 onion, minced
  • 1 Tbsp. unfermented soy sauce
  • 1/4 tsp. sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. onion powder
  • 2 Tbsp. nutritional yeast flakes
  • 2 Tbsp. toasted sesame seeds, ground


  1. Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl and mix with hands until well mixed.
  2. Shape into balls and fry in a little oil until browned, turning frequently.
  3. Serve with tomato sauce if desired.
