Breakfast Sausage Patties

Ingredients:

  • 2 c water
  • 4 Tbsp. soy sauce, unfermented
  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 2 tsp. turbinado sugar
  • 2 tsp. onion powder
  • 1 tsp. Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. sage
  • 1 tsp. parsley flakes
  • 2 c. quick oats
  • 1/2 c. pecan meal

Instructions:

  1. Bring water and seasonings to a boil. When boiling, add quick oats and pecan meal, stirring well. Reduce heat and simmer until thickened. Allow to cool.
  2. Form into patties and fry in a little olive oil until browned on both sides.
