Bountiful Baked Beans


  • 2 1/2 c. navy or great northern beans, cooked without salt or seasonings
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 c. tomato puree
  • 1/2 c. pitted dates, blended with 1 cup water
  • 1/3 c. molasses
  • 1 tsp. onion powder
  • 1 tsp. vegetable seasoned salt
  • 1/2 tsp. salt


  1. Combine all ingredients and mix well. Place in casserole dish and cover with foil.
  2. Bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour. Remove foil and bake an additional 1/2 hour, or until hot and bubbly.
