Beef-Like Stew


  • 3 c. water
  • 3 medium potatoes, cut into chunks
  • 1 onion, cut into chunks
  • 2 carrots, cut into chunks
  • 2 stalks celery, cut into chunks
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 c. veggie meat or soy curls, cut into chunks
  • 1 8 oz. can tomato sauce
  • 3 Tbsp. unfermented soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. nutritional yeast flakes


  1. Heat water to boiling. While water is heating, add the vegetables.
  2. Add remaining ingredients, reduce heat and simmer until vegetables are tender.
