Bean Spread Sandwich


  • 16-oz. can fat-free refried beans
  • 1/2 onion, minced
  • 1/2 stalk celery, minced
  • 1/4 c. Tofu Mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp. onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 Tbsp. nutritional yeast flakes


  1. Combine all ingredients and mix well. Spread on sliced whole grain bread, adding lettuce and tomatoes if desired. Makes a nice bean dip too!
