Bananas Foster


  • 4 Tbsp. vegan margarine
  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/8 tsp. allspice
  • 1/4 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp. lemon juice
  • 4 bananas


  1. Heat butter and brown sugar in a small saucepan. Add nutmeg and allspice.
  2. When heated, stir in vanilla and lemon juice.
  3. Slice bananas in half, then slice lengthwise. Add to mixture in pan and stir gently.
  4. Remove from heat. Serve over your favorite vegan ice cream.
