Banana Monkey Bars on a Stick


  • 2 ripe, firm bananas
  • 3/4 c. carob chips
  • 1/2 c. chopped peanuts or other nuts (or granola, coconut or sprinkles)


  1. Cut bananas in half and freeze for about 15 minutes. Place bananas on sticks.
  2. Melt carob chips. Allow to cool slightly, then roll bananas in carob to coat, and dip into nuts.
  3. Place on parchment or waxed paper. Return to freezer for an additional 30 minutes.
