Baked Oatmeal


  • 4 c. boiling water
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 3 c. quick oats
  • ½ c. coconut
  • ¼ c. dates, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. light olive oil, optional


  1. Bring water and salt to boil. (If you use olive oil add it to water.) Put oats in oblong pan. Add dates and coconut.
  2. Pour boiling water over oats. Bake at 375 degrees for 35-40 minutes until crispy.
