Almond Maple Granola

Ingredients:

Mix #1:

  • 3 c. rolled oats
  • 1 c. blanched slivered almonds
  • 1/4 c. wheat germ
  • 2 c. flaked coconut
  • 1/3 c. unsalted sunflower seeds, opt.

Mix #2:

  • 1/3 c. pure maple syrup
  • 1/3 c. packed dark brown sugar
  • 1/4 c. vegetable oil
  • 2 Tbsp. water
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

Mix #3:

  • 1 c. raisins

Instructions:

  1. Combine ingredients of mix #1 and stir. With a whisk, combine ingredients for mix #2.
  2. Stir into mix #1 until well combined.
  3. Spread on trays and bake at 240 degrees until golden and crispy, stirring as needed. Add the raisins.
