If we are saved through faith, do we continue to sin?
“17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. 18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: show me thy faith without thy works, and I will show thee my faith by my works. 19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. 20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?” Jam. 2:17-20
How can we be sure we know God?
“3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. 4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.” 1 John 2:3, 4
How do we show God we love Him?
“15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.” John 14:15
If we are under grace, are we safe in sinning?
“14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace. 15 What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid. 16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?” Rom. 6:14-16
How do we remain in a loving relationship with Jesus?

Did Jesus destroy the law or fulfill it for us where we failed?
“17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.” Mat. 5:17
When we are born again, will we continue to commit sin?
“4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. 5 And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin. 6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him. 7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. 8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. 9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.”1 John 3:4-9
What results from denying God’s Law?
“9 He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer [shall be] abomination.” Pro. 28:9
