He was a great man of God, we have watched him many times. The way he blended his New York early life stories, using the Word of God as the cement, has made a lasting impression on our family. Reaching out and embracing the unsaved is a goal we all should aspire to do. All of our best to his family and many friends around the world, May God Bless.

I came to know Ron this year as I listened to his messages on 3ABN. He came across in a clear and loving way. I looked forward to each message he preached. My heart broke when I heard he had passed, and my prayers go out to his wife and family. He will truly be missed. I look forward to meeting him in Heaven when our dear Jesus returns.

Pastor Ron Halvorsen was a mighty man of God who preached the word in season and out of season. I will never forget meeting him in the early 1980s and being so impressed with how he treated me even though I was a young African American male. I thought if only everyone was so touched by God's spirit. He will be missed. I pray the Lord's of comfort on his family and friends.

I'm saddened to hear of the passing of Brother Halvorsen Sr. I saw him to be a wise, compassionate, refreshing, relevant Minister of the gospel who touched my heart with His personal testimonies. I love how he saw people through the eyes of Jesus. I love how he always held his Bible close. It looks like he had a warm loving family. My prayers will be with the Halvorsen family, knowing we have the ministry of the COMFORTER and this hope in the coming of the LORD. I pray we may all be ready, even so LORD JESUS, come quickly.

I met pastor Ron at the Takoma Park Seventh-day Adventist Church at an evangelistic meeting. I was a young single mom then, and was having problems with one of my sons. I received counseling for my son, and I will never forget his kindness. I hope to meet Ron in Heaven. I pray that we all will remain faithful.

John 17:18-22 "As you sent me into the world, I have sent them into the world. For them I sanctify myself, that they too may be truly sanctified. My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, you as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one. " The Student Bible NIV.

Thank you Jesus for Ron, who loved You so much. Through his life You were glorified, and the Father through You.

When I became Prayer Coordinator for the Arkansas-Louisiana Conference back in 1990, I invited pastor Ron to be the speaker at a Prayer Retreat at our camp. I had no idea what an impact this man of God would make on my own life personally, and on so many thousands perhaps millions of others. He gave me the inspiration to continue in Prayer Ministries up to today. He taught me about not only prayer but about the God that answers those prayers. He taught me the value of "prayer walking". What a legacy he has left to his family and so many others of passionately serving and trusting in the God he lived for.

Pastor Ron Halvorsen was a great preacher. A man of God who was not afraid to tell the truth and to prove his teachings from the Bible. I first got to know him when he held the Revelation Seminar in Charlotte, North Carolina. I really miss him. I still watch and listen all his sermons. I tell everyone I meet about his favorite statement, "It is not how fast you run or how high you jump but how straight you walk" May his soul rest in peace.
