Jesus told simple stories—but his radical teaching changed the world! We’re excited to have Pastor Ron Halvorsen, Sr. with us again for a new series on “Jesus,  the Radical Teacher.”
Here are the amazing topics he will cover:

Wednesday, July 23 at 7:00 p.m. CDT (UTC–5)
“The Beatitudes – His Last Will And Testament”

It’s the story of two mounts—the Mount of the Beatitudes, and the Mount of Calvary. On one Jesus preached a sermon of words, and on the other He preached a sermon of action. Discover how the Mount of the Beatitudes and Mount Calvary are brought together in His radical teaching of Jesus’ blessedness.

Thursday, July 24 at 7:00 p.m. CDT (UTC–5)
“The Good Samaritan”

In this radical sermon or parable, Jesus teaches about religious and social bigotry, as well as prejudice. He teaches us how Christians are to treat all people, and uncovers the truth of just who is our neighbor.

Friday, July 25 at 7:00 p.m. CDT (UTC–5)
“The Good Shepherd”

In this radical sermon or parable, Jesus teaches how we are to treat the lost. Get real insights into the real Jesus, how He acts toward the lost, and the example He sets for us.

Saturday, July 26 at 11:00 a.m. CDT (UTC–5)
“Horns and Halos in Human Nature”

The radical Jesus touches on a very sensitive attitude that is prevalent among church members today, as He attacks self-righteousness.

Saturday, July 26 at 3:00 p.m. CDT (UTC–5)
“The Bridegroom Cometh”

Jesus, the radical Teacher, tells us about what qualifies a believer for the wedding feast. He destroys the idea that we can earn Heaven because we adhere to some doctrines, or because we behave a certain way. Discover the one thing that is important for eternal life!

We wish to thank 3ABN for being on DISH satellite TV. My mother (in law) is now studying for baptism. She is in her late 70's. A wondrous change is seen in her. My prayers are with Pastor Halvorson and the rest of 3ABN, as you proclaim the wonderful GoodNews. My mother in law has Parkinson's Disease. She wishes to be baptized, but stepping into a baptistery, or a river is not possible. Hopefully there is a way. Pastor Cox spoke on Baptism in the series "Give Me the Bible". Is the "proxy" baptism of Jesus enough, or should we pursue immersion baptism with her? Thank- you

We ought to be baptized by immersion if we are physically able, and that is the key point. . . is the person physically able. The thief on the cross was not baptized. I would consider the following:

If the person cannot walk, are they of a size/weight where they could be carried into the water, then immersed with help as the Pastor baptizes them?
Are they able to hold their breath for a few moments without undue stress?
      Will water temperature shock them?
If they are of a stature where they cannot be easily lowered with help, I would bring them in by profession of faith, if it is too great a risk to the person’s safety/health to immerse them (I have seen wheel chair bound people baptized in water with assistance).

Thank you all at 3ABN for carrying forward the Word, which is life for the lost and the wanderers. There is more to your initiative to reach out to everyone with the 3 angels' message. I wish to express my heartfelt gratitude for reaching out to me when my search was in the darkest place you all brought to me light to show me the way. I look forward to 3ABN extension in my area Guwahati, Assam, India, with six-and-a-half million precious souls wait in hunger for the Bread of Life.
