Pastor Dan Jarrard will be the guest speaker during a special Worship Service this Saturday on 3ABN. He will share his testimony of how he became a Seventh-day Adventist minister after 18
years of ministry in the Pentecostal church.
“I had been taught that the Seventh-day Adventist community was a cult when I attended the seminary,” he says, “and later, when I was teaching at a Bible college, I was approached by a perspective student who wondered if I might be interested in his library of books. He said that he wanted to study the Bible, alone, so I took them and was surprised to find that they were all Seventh-day Adventist books!
“Because of what I’d been taught, I set out to disprove the books—and expose the Seventh-day Adventists for the cult I thought they were. However, after reading them for nearly 11 years, I realized that although Adventists aren’t perfect, I could find no fault in their doctrines. This wasn’t a hasty decision. I had put every teaching under the most powerful microscope my academic mind could find, and the truth won out.”
Pastor Jarrard is no stranger to early 3ABN viewers. He was one of the first presenters on the fledgling network on the series entitled, A Closer Look. Recently we received a tremendous response to his interview on 3ABN Today, and we’re delighted to have him with us again for this special Worship Service entitled, “Is There Not a People?”
The program airs live on Saturday, March 31, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. CDT (UTC-5).
Tune in for a blessing!
