3ABN Children's Day 2011

Mark your calendars for December 3, 2011, because 3ABN has declared this special Sabbath to be Children’s Day, dedicated to children’s ministries. You won’t want to miss three live events—all in the same day!

Kids’ Time Praise

The first hour begins on Saturday, December 3, at 9:30 a.m. CST, and will feature musically gifted children from Kids’ Time Praise sharing their talents. Some of the Kids’ Time regulars like Mirielle Enriquez, Samara Bowden, and Alessandra Sorace will be there. We’ve also invited the Kids’ Time Singers from Collegedale, Tennessee, and their director Holly Greer, as well as some new friends like the Hall Family with their amazing stringed instruments.

These kids come from as far away as California, Washington, Florida, and even Jamaica, and we know you’ll be blessed as they share their love for Jesus through their joyful songs of praise.

Worship Hour

The worship hour will begin at 11:00 a.m. CST with a rousing song service led by Pastor C. A. Murray, accompanied by the very talented Jimmy Rhodes on the organ and Brenda Walsh on piano. Jimmy has played on Kids’ Time for several years, and he and Brenda have just released a new CD for kids featuring accompaniment tracks and a companion songbook.

Then Brenda Walsh will give a message on the importance of raising children who have a personal relationship with Jesus. You’ll listen to heart-touching testimonies from kids and even hear from a six-year-old preacher!

Holiday Music

Last but not least, the afternoon program will feature a whole hour of holiday music by our Kids’ Time Praise musicians. Sing along with your favorite carols like, “Silent Night,” “O Little Town of Bethlehem,” “Away in the Manger,” and many more!

“God has placed a passion in my heart to help children know who Jesus is and to tell them how much He loves them,” says Brenda Walsh, producer and host of Kids’ Time. “Once kids can begin to grasp that basic concept, the desire to serve Him begins! When you think about it, why would anyone want to serve God if we didn’t understand His love? The simple message that Jesus loves you is the most important message we can share with children. I have literally seen a child cry when I told him how much Jesus loved him!

“Children are so important to our heavenly Father that Jesus said in Matthew 18:5, ‘Whoever receives one little child like this in My name receives Me.’ It’s so vitally important to teach children the real joy of serving Jesus at an early age! Encourage their participation in church service and let them learn firsthand how to worship God.”

We want to invite kids—young and old—to come to 3ABN and be a part of this special day. There are RV sites available, as well as affordable motels in the area, so make plans now to join us. And if you’re unable to be here in person, be sure to watch by television. As always, please keep God’s precious children lifted up in prayer, and remember, “It’s Kids’ Time to share Jesus!”
